Sean's first soccer game

Ryan and I went to Sean's first soccer game today ~ Ryan had a blast sitting in his cool soccer chair watching the game (while eating "nacks")

The fun part is that not only is Sean playing, but so are Bob (Jess' husband), Brad, Jason and Jason's brother, Josh

Look at this really cool "painting" set Ella has - I cannot remember what it is called, hopefully Jess can help me out. Ella just paints with water which turns the palette black where she paints. It slowly dries back to white so she can start again. She is REALLY good at painting the entire thing black - very cool!

Sorry for the ketchup mouth - but how cute is this? The tongue out made me laugh (Rachael you will appreciate this) She is just like her mom, Jess - (You would have to go back a ways to Lily's first haircut on Rachael's blog.... note the tongue out in concentration on Jess! HA!)

After the haircuts, it was outside to play on Ella's VERY COOL playset!

Sad News

After about a month of agonizing waiting, we found out today that I have an ectopic pregnancy. I think we are both relieved just to find out an answer, although it would have been nice to see a viable pregnancy. So I spent most of the day in the oncology ward of the hospital waiting for the drug-lords to mix up the proper concoction. Two shots and I was done ~ please think good thoughts for me that this does the trick! There is a slight chance this won't work and I will end up in surgery next week, so we are all hoping for the best

Pool

We took Ryan over to the town pool yesterday evening, hoping to get him more comfortable around water. He LOVES to watch water and read about water, but really does not like to have water on him, so off we went to the pool. Oh how I wish we had thought to bring the camera with us! It took a little coaxing and a lot of whimpering, but we slowly got him used to the water. This pool is really cool, I will bring my camera next time - they have a pool just for toddlers that starts off 1 inch deep and goes to about 1 to 1 1/2 feet deep. Within 1/2 hour, Ryan was walking through the water and going down the toddler slide - what a difference! "Again, Again" for the slide! We can't wait to go back with the camera, we all had a great time
