Family Vacation Part 3

There wasn't a whole lot to do around this city. There was however an "amusement park" just a little bit down the road. We drove into the middle of nowhere for about 15 minutes....I think that put us close to halfway there. We were out in the middle of field after field when all of a sudden we came up on a big parking lot with lots of go karts. These karts were really small so that even Ryan and Jason could drive them. It became readily apparent that Jason has two older brothers. He was able to steer his own kart around for several laps. Ryan on the other hand pretty much just ran into the wall, got really irritated, and got out of his cart before we could ge a picture.

Nathan and Christopher took a liking to Aunt Jen's new iPhone.

Family Vacation Part 2

We all went for a walk in the Glen Miller park. There some nice trails around through the woods.

Jason decided that pushing Eric in the stroller looked like fun.

Ryan leading Nathan up the "trail"

Nathan!!! Are you coming?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Jason was too tired to push Eric so Christopher had to step in for a bit.

This downhill part is pretty easy Grandma.

Grandpa will carry me now....I am so excited I can barely keep my eyes open.

The end of the trail and the end of anything resembling seriousness from any of this herd of boys.

Daddy??? I walked a long way, can you carry me now?

Jon, Linda, all the boys (except Eric) and I took a side path down by the river to skip rocks. Here Ryan has a serious throwing rock. Not sure that it skipped so well.

After a long day on the trail Ryan passed out for a much needed rest.

Eric in his usual position.

Family Vacation

Vacation with Jon, Linda and the boys...we all met somewhere in Ohio right on the Indiana border. Our hotel was actually in Ohio but just a few blocks away towards the city we crossed over into Indiana.

Here is Nathan, Ryan and Christopher playing some sort of boy thing. ;)

Ryan and Daddy reading books.

Uncle Sean will read books, maybe we should all join in.

Forget books, wrestling is so much more fun!!!!

Ryan and Jason were instant best friends.

Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Linda

Saturday night after dinner all 17 of us packed up and headed to Bryson City to ride on the Polar Express. The train left that station at 8pm. The Great Smoky Mountain railroad was all decked out for the occasion. The train was headed to the North Pole. We had hot chocolate and chocolate covered marshmallow Santa's. Once we arrived at the North Pole Santa and one of his elves got on the train and gave a bell to all the kiddos. Then he came back through to autograph copies of the Polar Express. On the return trip they handed out song sheets and we all sang Christmas Carols.

The twelve days Christmas found all the kids in the aisle dancing. Here we are at "5 Golden rings".

A great time was had by everyone. We made sure to get family pictures Sunday morning as everyone was departing.

This a panoramic view off the balcony.

The fall foliage was beautiful.
